Truck driver killed by a paper roll

A truck driver was killed by a roll of paper on the premises of a paper mill in 2017.
The truck driver was in the immediate vicinity of the unloading area during the unloading process, contrary to regulations.
While the 41-year-old truck driver and a forklift driver were unloading the 1.2 tonne rolls of paper, one of the rolls fell from the forklift and hit the truck driver. Unfortunately, all resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful.
