What happens if you ignore it?
The consequences can be serious:
• A payment order is followed by an enforcement order
• Failure to appear when summoned as a witness may result in a fine or detention
• Missed objection deadlines cannot be made up
• Enforcement measures such as bank account garnishments become possible
